From my start as a journalist, through my service as a judicial law clerk and then a business litigator, I have thrived on learning and accurately describing the facts and following a story to its conclusion. As a lawyer, I have represented both claimants and respondents across a wide spectrum of disputes, but the role I have enjoyed the most is that of neutral working to resolve disputes. I used to say that serving as a judicial law clerk was my favorite job, but now that I have had a chance to work as mediator and arbitrator, I find alternative dispute resolution to be the most satisfying.
